Roda Golf & Beach Resort is located near the Mar Menor, in San Javier, Murcia, one of the regions with the best climate and quality of life in Spain. Roda Golf and Beach Resort is one of the new American style resort developments, that is for both residents and tourists alike. The complex is being constructed by the same development company who are  building Corvera Golf & Country Club which can be found some 20 minutes inland.

On-site there is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course, designed by the world renowned golf designer Dave Thomas. The resort has been integrated into a beautiful natural setting, where the safety and security of residents, the quality of the homes and the peace and tranquillity offered can all be met with ease. DeVere Hotels are partners of the developers Calidona, and will have 5* hotels in all Calidona resorts, Roda and Corvera to name but two, the first being scheduled to open at Roda at the end of 2008. It has been agreed that the Golf and leisure facilities will be run and managed by the DeVere Hotels group.

There are five phases of development at Roda Golf and Beach Resort:

Phase III mid 2007

Phase IV end of 2007

Phase V mid 2008, with the hotel being the last part of the development to complete.

As mentioned above Calidona are developing a second golf resort at Corvera with the golf course being available for play

 The resort, which has been designed by leading architects, will have beautiful walkways, open areas, pools and sporting facilities.

Roda Golf & Beach Resort as the name suggests also includes an authentic Beach Club. The 4.600 m2 site is located in La Manga Mar Menor, in it is an independent building, 600 m2 in size which, after restoration, will boast catering facilities, water sports, swimming pools, solariums, a social area and of course, the sea.

For clients / owners to access the Beach Club, Roda Golf & Beach Resort will provide a shuttle service. There will be a boarding point near the resort where the short journey begins to the Club.

Properties on the resort include 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, 2 and 3 bedroom townhouses and 2,3 and 4 bedroom villas. The properties will be built around beautiful gardens and communal pools with walkways and jogging tracks linking up around the perimeter.

The golf course will provide a challenging test of golf for all abilities. Watch out for the intimidating 7th, an island green, in front of the main clubhouse!

At the resort a number of services will be provided for owners/guests. There will be a commercial area, main clubhouse and the De-Vere hotel and its spa facilities on hand. The resort will have control of access, security patrols and a secure perimeter giving complete peace of mind for all guests.

'Off plan' properties have a €3000 reservation, 25% within one month, 15% within the following 6 months, and 60% on completion.
